Ms. Kneadee L. C. Jackson is a native of Rochester, NY and currently resides in Charlotte, NC. Her passion and purpose for mental health advocacy were discovered early in life, as a daughter of parents in the mental health and education sector. She has since dedicated herself to community service and has a wealth of experience working with children and youth.
Ms. Jackson's formal education includes a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master of Social Work from Johnson C. Smith University. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Carolina University in Winston-Salem. Throughout her academic career, Ms. Jackson has been actively involved in serving at-risk youth with extreme childhood trauma.
Ms. Jackson has also served as a Guardian Ad Litem advocate for abused and neglected juveniles. As a Provisional Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she has provided psychotherapy sessions addressing persistent mental health and behavioral issues for Level Three Residential Group Homes for Youth and Day Treatment Programs for Youth along with a Residential Care Specialist for Level IV psychiatric residential treatment facilities.
Ms. Jackson's experience as a Team Lead for Intensive In-Home has provided her with the expertise to lead a team of qualified professionals in providing specialized clinical services for children and youth in foster care. Her passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of these vulnerable children and youth led her to establish Anchored Solutions Group. The service is designed to provide comprehensive support for caregivers and providers, ensuring that these children and youth receive the best possible care and support to help them thrive and succeed.
Ms. Jackson's leadership skills have also led to her establishment and presidency at Fostering Hope Village, Incorporated. Through this esteemed organization, she endeavors to cultivate a brighter, inclusive future for foster children and youth navigating the complexities of mental illness and trauma.
In addition to her community advocacy work, Ms. Jackson is also a Chief Organizer with the Child Abuse Prevention Team of Charlotte NC and a Board Member of Daniel's Notes, Incorporated. In her personal time, Ms. Jackson enjoys spending time with her family, including her parents, grandparents, close friends, and her four-legged child, Reagan. She also enjoys traveling, watching movies, and trying new restaurants.
